Le projet porte sur l’extension d’une maison individuelle ayant déjà fait l’objet d’une première transformation (projet entre 2 patios). L’acquisition d’une parcelle mitoyenne au sud offre aujourd’hui l’opportunité d’agrandir à nouveau la maison tout en lui apportant une nouvelle source de lumière. La construction existante sur cette parcelle, très dégradée et difficilement raccordable à la maison actuelle, sera démolie au profit d’une nouvelle construction plus saine et adaptée au programme. Sur cette parcelle de 80 m², l’extension sera implantée en fond de terrain, dans le prolongement de l’existant et en continuité avec les constructions voisines, afin de préserver un espace libre sur rue et de créer un jardin planté. Développée sur quatre niveaux, elle accueille un espace de stockage en sous-sol, un nouveau séjour largement ouvert sur le jardin au rez-de-chaussée, une chambre parentale au R+1 et un bureau prolongé par une terrasse végétalisée au R+2. Un noyau vertical central assure la liaison entre l’extension et la maison existante, facilite les circulations et permet de diffuser la lumière naturelle au cœur du logement grâce à des ouvertures généreuses et des puits de lumière. L’extension privilégie une large ouverture de la façade sud et une volumétrie composée de retraits et de différences de hauteur afin de s’adapter au contexte urbain et de préserver les vues. La construction est principalement en structure bois (murs et planchers) avec des façades habillées d’un bardage en tuiles plates aux teintes terre, faisant écho aux constructions voisines et au passé industriel du quartier. À l’intérieur, une matérialité sobre et chaleureuse associe terrazzo  parquet avec un escalier central en métal constituant un élément architectural fort.

The project involves the extension of a single-family house that has already undergone an initial transformation (project Entre 2 Patios). The acquisition of an adjoining plot to the south now offers the opportunity to further extend the house while introducing a new source of natural light.
The existing building on this plot is in very poor condition and would be difficult to connect structurally to the existing house. It will therefore be demolished and replaced by a new, healthier structure adapted to the requirements of the project.
On this 80 sqm plot, the extension will be positioned at the rear of the site, continuing the existing house and aligning with the neighbouring buildings. This layout preserves an open area along the street and creates a planted garden. Spread over four levels, the extension includes a storage area in the basement, a new living room opening widely onto the garden at ground floor level, a master bedroom on the first floor, and an office extending onto a planted terrace on the second floor.
A central vertical circulation core connects the extension to the existing house, improving internal circulation while bringing natural light into the heart of the home through generous openings and skylights. The extension features a largely open southern façade, with a stepped volume and variations in height designed to respond to the urban context and preserve views.
The building is primarily constructed in timber, with timber walls and floors, while the façades are clad in flat tiles in earthy tones, echoing the surrounding buildings and referring to the industrial heritage of the neighbourhood.
Inside, a simple yet warm material palette combines terrazzo and timber flooring, with a central metal staircase acting as a strong architectural feature.
